Eyes on Israel Tour | October 31st – November 10th, 2019

The Israeli Retina Society would like to invite you to attend their annual meeting which will be held on October 31st and November 1st, 2019 in Tel Aviv.

This 1½ day meeting featuring excellent international speakers. The Society has set aside a special symposium where each of the vitreo-retinal fellows who have trained in Canada and Australia will present a 5-minute case.

Following the scientific meeting, we have planned a very exciting 8-day VIP tour of Israel. The tour will include visits to historical and religious sites throughout the country, meeting with Ruvi Rivlin the President of Israel and Deborah Lyons the Canadian Ambassador to Israel and frank discussions with international journalists. We also plan to visit two high-tech industry centers.

During our visit, we will experience the diverse religious and cultural communities throughout Israel including visits to a Druze village and an Israeli Kibbutz.

We will also get a first-hand opportunity to meet with young men and women in Israel who make up the Israel Defense Forces and a talk by a female battalion commander Lieutenant Colonel Dana Ben Ezra. We will be staying at 5-star hotels in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Tiberius and will be eating in the finest restaurants.

I know that you will have a wonderful experience and promise that it will be a trip of a lifetime for you and your partner.

Please let me know if you are interested in attending the meeting and the following 8-day tour of Israel. The secure registration form is below. If you decide to come, place a deposit which will be fully refundable until 90 days prior to departure.

Best regards,
